The Budget Estimates

We estimate that the total cost for the project will be 100,000 dollars. The pluming material will cost 12,500, lights and Wi-Fi will cost 7,500, glass shelves 15,000, demolition 5,000, painting 7,500, new stock of computer and mobile devices and accessories will cost 52,500. Labor costs will amount to 20,000 while shipping costs will be 5,000 dollars.

Sponsors and Stakeholders

The sole sponsor of the project is the Genius Computer Stores. They will ensure that all the funds are provided in time and payments are made as stipulated. The developers, Rock works, will do the entire construction work.

Business Justification

The goal of this project is to boost the sales revenue. Genius Computer stores needed to expand its sales volume and serve a wider customer base. By initiating the project, the business will be able to double its revenue. The current store can only fit 50 customers. Doubling the size to a 100 customers and increasing the service counters will improve the service quality. Having glass shelves will give an attractive look to the interior. The supplies will also be clearly visible to potential clients. The old paint is dull. Therefore, repainting the facility will make it look convenient, attractive and conspicuous from far. Most of the rivals have Wi-Fi connections. In order to compete favorably, this computer store needs to have a similar or better service. The lighting system will have to be redone to cater for the increased room.

Project Deliverables

The project will result in increased number of items in the stocks. The shelves will be able to hold more items. Once the Wi-Fi routers are installed, customers will be able to browse as they test their gadgets. By increasing the floor area, more customers will flock in and get served conveniently.

Assumptions

Assumptions made are that it is only electronic gadgets or devices and computer books will be sold. It is also assumed that there are no exterior fixtures and fittings to be made. Lastly, the supplier will deliver the stocks before the end of the project.

Constraints

There is no software integration to aid in project planning as well as the control. In addition, there are no security cameras and alarms to track the movement of items.

Roles and Responsibilities

The analyst, Dr. Amos, is responsible for making sure that what the client needs is documented properly before any other measures are taken. The project manager is responsible for ensuring that the project goes as stipulated in the master plan. The designer will come up with a solution to the client’s needs. He will determine and develop the overall infrastructural model. The developers will erect the structures and install fittings. The treasurer will keep track of the funds in the project.
