Introduction

Configuring File services across all sites using DFS (Microsoft, 2012)

Managing File services using File Service Resource Manager (FSRM)

The reason as to why encryption should be enabled during network design

2

Configuration of File services using DFS a

Distributed File System (DFS) is a set of client and server services which allows a network administrator using windows server 2012 to organize many SMB file

First one need to install DFS into SVR01 and COMSYS-RODCO1 server

Open server manager and proceed with DFS namespace configuration

Features of successful project management

Smart people

Smart correction of system requirements

Having a great risk strategy

Careful risk management

Strong project closure

Responding to project members challanges

3

Managing file service using FSRM and why encryption is important

FSRM is a set of tools which allows network administrator to understand, control and manage the type and quantity of data stored on the server

Before one can use FSRM one need to first install the FSRM

Open the File Server Resource Manager (FSRM)

In the FSRM console expand file screening management and then click File Group, right file group and then right click create file group (Microsoft, 2012)

Encryption is important as it allows one to securely protect data which one do want it accessed by anyone.

Risk mitigation strategy defines steps taken to adverse effects

Project team challenges majorly arise due to undefined system objectives and scope changes. Lack of accountability is also one of project team challanges
