It allows you to dissect a situation and make decisions based on the information without repercussion. Case analysis will give you the opportunity to read about a given situation in detail and think critically, gathering all that you know about the topic at hand, and decide based on all the information available. Part of analyzing a case is determining what is and what is not important. Managers must be able to pick vital pieces of information. It is important to remember the communication aspects involved in making a sound decision. Listening is one of the communication techniques that will be very important in problem solving.
