The practice environment of nurses has changed so quickly due to the advancement of technology and expansion of knowledge in health care. The act of promoting technological competence should be a priority in nursing. This is done through the integration of knowledge with community-based nursing; this will improve the health standards of patients. Patient safety is an essential fact in nursing, and the use of machines and technology will help reduce errors made by humans. Community nursing practice entails the values of caring, wholeness, respect, and helping in community participation. The use of personal digital assistance (PDAs), mobile technology helps a lot when used by nursing students as they provide information of the patients and when administering dosages, it can help reduce errors and thus promote technological competence.
The use of technology in community nursing will improve safe practice; this use of technology encourages nurses and future nurses to develop new strategies in promoting health care. It also provides an opportunity for community-based nurses to use evidence-based research in confirming the use of technology and its effectiveness in providing quality health care. Also, technology will make nurses to spent more time in patient care and have access to current information. Providing high and quality technology in a community environment is the goal in practicing nursing as it ensures that every need is attended to. In making patients feel free, as the Community Nursing Practice Model (CNPM) illustrates, it is a beneficial factor when implemented using technology as nurses will be on record of every activity that happens and will increase patient safety.

Discussion Week 12
I can begin by commenting that Parker and Barry included the community nursing practice model, committing to the role of the individual, the environment, and the health care provider, as part of an integral gear. Both think that the care process, the interrelation between the partner that has the function of incorporating cooperation and professional practice, and the probabilities of delivering the professional evaluation of results based on the possibility of the model. In this way, it is not feasible to lead us towards the development and universalization of community health policies. When these variables are merged into a single operation, it is possible to achieve health promotion, the significance of primary prevention and acute intervention for rehabilitation.
The Community Nursing Practice model, likewise, contributes with three especially important elements, which focus on respect for people, the provision of services in nursing care as a central point of the nursing process and the connection between families and communities to influence the individual. At this point is where a new component is exhibited in the concentric environments of the model, where the nursing position is linked to the structured organization, where the issue of education and the place of the nursing stand out as the option to choose. Then, the model exhibits new components for community nursing such as the interrelationship of the school and the community and the people in relation to the groups. The fruits of this model are based on the level of cooperation and consultation of customer service, placing emphasis on apprehension of customer experiences. The model gives way to common concerns for the well-being of patients in the center or central care of the nursing implementation and care plans.
Also, the Technological Competence of Locsin as Nursing Care, is focused on the relationship of a modern type that existsTop of Form
between people and technologies. The main ideas of this model focus on the differentiation of care as a virtuality of humanity and the total impression of the moment, then and by revealing and knowing the person, the nursing process gains the estimation of a human activity. Today, technologies and their use give us the possibility of integrating and implementing nursing as a discipline and professional practice to achieve better results and benefits, using value dimensions. Also, this theory integrates technology in the completeness of the human being but with the use of technology for the improvement of nursing activities focused on quality and efficiency since through technology, some activities are the reflection or reproduction of the activity of people.
