From new technologies to changes in healthcare delivery, the industry will continue to evolve. As a future leader, you must use the knowledge gained in this course to prepare for this evolution and to position your organization and its workforce to implement innovative practices.
Strategic planning skills will be important to your career as a nurse executive and will also support you when you develop your Capstone project in order to complete your program. Capstone projects are designed to be an authentic learning opportunity that allows you address an organizational need.
In future coursework, you will work with your preceptor to identify a Capstone project with a leadership or management focus, such as addressing staffing, program, or budget issues.
