For Week 1, the assignment is to identify a 'client organization.'   AND........

· Identify the client organization and type of client (work team, unit, department, division, etc.)

· Describe the client organization, that is, what do they do? 

· Where does the dept/team fit within the larger organization? 

· Describe how they are organized/structured; hierarchy (leader’s title), members roles/types of jobs, population (how many work there).

· Identify their OD issue (change problem or challenge) and readiness for change (readiness to deal with this issue)

· Create a problem statement and roughly map out the stages in Block's 5- step work Flawless Consulting Peter Block plan to solve the problem.  Imagine what you would do at each stage of the approach.  Flawless Consulting Peter Block - pdf.pdf   download

 Requirements 

Essay format.  Remember to proofread. The assignment needs to be written in Microsoft Word, Times New Roman, 12pt font. Graduate writing standards require all papers to be proof-read for grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
