Which theme did you choose to focus on for the first paper, the Research Report? How could you narrow that theme into smaller topics? Remember, once you choose a theme you must keep it throughout the semester so the assignments you complete connect through that theme. 1. Once you tell us which theme you chose, review some of the resources in the FTCC online library (or any other online library you have access to) and discuss one database you think might be helpful in finding relevant research for the Research Report (please read the guidelines for that assignment posted in Module One). 2. Choose one source from that database, and create an APA formatted reference:

3. Give a brief summary of the source. Remember, summaries are written in 3rd person and focus on main points, not details.

Once you respond to the discussion prompts, respond to at least 2 classmates and discuss the themes they chose. Which library databases might help them with research? What are your thoughts on how their themes were narrowed? Answer questions like that and go beyond "great job" posts.

You will not be able to see your classmates' responses to the question until you post your own answer.
