Due October 15th, 2021 via Turnitin.com and Email Visual Analysis Rubric (Essay Two): Choose one image to analyze for your second paper. The visual you select is up to your discretion, but should have enough substance for you to analyze. You can choose anything including: painting, sculpture, architecture, propaganda poster, book or movie poster, meme (political or social satire), or a multimedia clip. Essay should be two pages double spaced minimum.

II. Essay Format (10%): Distinguishable paragraphs (Introduction, Body paragraphs, conclusion). Ideas with essays are coherent and organized.

III. Visual Analysis (60%): Clear and consistent thesis statement.Visual evidence (describe and point to the visual as “textual evidence” in your essay). Analysis in each body paragraph.

IV. Grammar and Style (20%): Proofread grammar; paper virtually free from technical issues. Audience and tone of writing: tone is appropriate for the topic, free from casual language, no second person, no colloquialism, jargon, etc.

V. Extra Credit Option (10 points): Sign up to present your visual analysis in class on Monday, October 18th.
