Staff were provided with anonymous written surveys and asked to comment on specific aspects of the current interventions in place. Below are a sample of questions and responses to staff.

Question 1. How successful are the current intervention plans?

Very successful. All the kids inappropriate behavior has decreased

Still a lot of inappropriate behavior.

1. Calculate the total frequency of physical aggression for each observer.
2. Using the total count method of IOA, calculate the percentage of Inter-observer Agreement.
3. Discuss the result of IOA. - Is the IOA percentage within the acceptable range? - Discuss what changes should be considered in relation to increase the IOA percentage. If changes are not necessary discuss what factors contribute to high percentage of Inter-observer agreement.
4. Discuss how IOA measures can be used to assist with determining the effectiveness of the program.

Notes
Each interval represents 1 minute of observation.
Both observers were presented with the same defintion for physical aggression and told to mark down the frequency of the behavior for each 1 minute interval.
The data in each column labeled observer represents the total frequency of physical aggression recorded for that observer during each 1 minut interval.

1. Calculate the percent correct results of the treatment integrity checklist before intervention, 1 day after intervention, and at the 3-month follow up. - This is the total factors with a “Yes” out of the total number of factors, multiplied by 100.
2. Relate these treatment integrity measures to the effectiveness of the program.
3. Discuss the importance of treatment integrity in relation to the success of behavior management programs.

An integrity checklist was completed by the supervisor overseeing the implementation of the new behavior intervention plans created along with Pathways. The staff were observed during a 30 minute session and were marked correct or incorrect based on their performance on the measures listed below. Following is the integrity data for one staff member before the staff training, immediately following the training, and at a 3 month follow up.
