UGV Proposal

What I’m planning to present is the impact of Unmanned Systems (Ground vehicles) on public safety. Will utilizing autonomous vehicles decrease errors and accidents.

Prof Comment:

With regard to a specific topic. What measurable factors are you thinking for decreasing errors and accidents? How would you collect data to measure these? The biggest challenge I see with students selecting projects is the ability to obtain measurable data (either qualitative or quantitative) and measure it. Also, it is important to determine how you will treat and test your data. The test you select will be important to making your sample size determination. Depending on the test, you may need between 40 and 150 samples. Can you obtain that much data in such a short semester?
