Your task Your task is to create a resource for your study at TAFE and for future use as you enter the
electrotechnology industry
For this research assignment you are required to complete the following:
Collect information from material, tool and machinery suppliers
Present the information neatly in a portfolio
1 - Suppliers required You are required to find two suppliers for each of the following:
Electrical accessories – Cable, conduit, hardware, socket outlets, lights etc
Hand and power tools – Pliers, screwdrivers, shovels, drills, grinders, masonary and timber tools
Sand – River sand, bags of cement, concrete
Metal – Angle steel, sheet steel
Workwear – Clothing, boots
Safety – Barricades, signage, personal protective equipment (PPE)
Elevated work platforms – Scissor lifts, boom lifts
Excavation – bobcat, excavator, trenching machine(Dingo/Ditch Witch)
Concrete Cutting – Chasing, Core drilling
