Portfolio with final paper

The topic I will choose to discuss during my final paper is to continue to work remotely post pandemic for companies that can do so. The people who will benefit from this concept are organizations, employees, their children, and clients. I believe that if we do not continue to allow remote work, families and organizations will both suffer as a result. 

 

There are many reasons I will make my argument to continue a remote work from home concept. I believe that the family unit is in crisis. It has been a custom practice for many years now in our country to have both parents required to work full time to maintain a household. In single family homes, some are required to work multiple jobs. To continue to work remotely would allow more parents to work and be with their children. 

 

Organizations will benefit from this permanent concept because it will decrease their overhead which would ultimately increase profits. Employees would also produce a higher quality of work as they would essentially have a better home/life balance. Attendance would be another element that would be improved in this concept. 

 

Children would build stronger relationships with their parent/parents vs. being raised by childcare facilities or other care providers.
