This is similar to a 'position paper' you might be asked to write for your company when your boss asks you for an opinion to shape direction and strategy for the organization.  This is different from an academic paper where you are analyzing a topic.  Here you would present a strategy or direction - which is based on your educated opinion - and provide support for your position.

Topic of Individual Paper Selection: Offshoring of Research and Development Work

The offshoring process is frequently used by a lot of companies, especially those operated in developed countries. China apparently becomes the dominant market for offshoring production. Also, as the technology and information system skills are highly being focused in developing countries such as India, offshoring of research and development work should be on the schedule now. Consequently, more and more corporations are offshoring high skilled demand projects and businesses. What’s the real reasons for companies to do offshoring? How do those companies manage business and even human resources when they become “multinational” companies? What new challenges for companies do to offshoring? I’m going to investigate and know more things about the R&D work of offshoring.
