Critical appraisal tool

TIPS:

The work assigned to Weeks 6 and 7 is quite extensive and it requires a good deal of effort on your part. That is the reason that two weeks are allotted for this assignment. To do a quality job requires you to put the time and effort into this assignment. Do not be fooled into thinking it can be completed successfully at the last minute.   (It is not something you can start the weekend it is do and be successful!) 

The objectives to be accomplished over the next two weeks are:

· Evaluate peer-reviewed articles using critical appraisal tools

· Analyze best practices based on critical appraisal of evidence-based research

This will require you to become familiar with "deep dives" into the content of a research article. Readings from your text (Melynk & Fineout--Overholt, 2018) related to critically appraising both qualitative and quantitative research methods is a great place to start.   Additional support to this information is provided in the readings identified in this module. Videos supporting the assignment are also included in this module.
