Directions:

Identify a topic in the field of social work that is narrow enough to conduct a literature search of 6 to 8 articles. In a few weeks, you will write an 8-10 paragraph essay about this topic.

Research the relevant literature using PsychInfo and the Chamberlain University online library search engine. Make sure you have access to Full Text for all sources you are going to use. If you can find research high on the credibility scale, such as meta-analyses versus case reports, use it.

After reading the abstracts and findings sections for all of your sources, write a thesis statement that makes a useful assertion about the topic.

Create a reference list in APA format, and add a sentence under each reference indicating how this article will be useful to your thesis.
