The Self Concept Box Assignment

How Do I See Myself?

Assignment Description: Your assignment is to create a pictorial and textual description of your

self-concept. You will answer the following questions:

1. Select any container of your choice? Why did you select the container you did? What

does it say about you?

2. Select 5 tangible items that are important or are of value to you. Describe the

significance of each item and how it represents you.

3. How did you go about selecting the items?

4. What did you learn about yourself in the process?

5. How did you feel about this assignment?

6. If you could have more than 5 items what else would you include? Why?

Please review the sample assignment below to see how the assignment may be completed. I am

allowing you a little creative control over how you chose to interpret the assignment. However, make

sure that that you have a picture/clip art to represent each item. You are expected to display college

level writing and assessment of each question. You should provide paragraph minimum for each

question using complete sentences, correct spelling, correct grammar, and correct punctuation.

Points Possible: 50
