Girls and women in a society bear the brunt of the negative impact of rigid gender norms and roles in most world religions; they are more likely to face restrictions in their freedom and mobility, they are subjected to epidemic levels of violence and harassment around the world, and they have fewer opportunities to choose how to live their lives. For this reason, I have chosen to explore the theme of “Treatment of Women in the Society” to get to the root of the concern.
