Instructional Plan Part II

The focus of the Instructional Plan for Diverse Learners Part 2 is the completion of the teaching / lesson plan and relevant instructional documents.   Prepare a lesson / teaching plan based on the teaching plan format of Chapter 10 in the Bastable text (2019, p. 444). Part Two of the Instructional Plan for Diverse Learners summarizes the outcomes of the decisions made regarding the instructional event.  Decisions are to be backed up from the literature. This paper should be a scholarly paper four to six pages (minus the title page, references, and attachments). There should be a minimum of three non-text references (nursing journals/peer reviewed). The paper should be in APA format (American Psychological Association, 2020).

Title

Introduction first. Must be at least three sentences and in 3rd person.

Discussion

An introductory paragraph at least three sentences and in 3rd person. Always a paragraph between heading levels.

Overview

An overview of the content with a description of the rationale and its relationship to the learning outcome/s, including substantiation from the literature. Make sure that the learning objectives/outcomes follow ABCD and are SMART. (Bastable, 2019, p. 432). Discuss the teaching plan, purpose, goals, objectives, selection of method, instructional materials. Explain what and how are you planning to teach. Be sure to cite resources. Provide the completed Teaching Plan as illustrated in text (Bastable, 2019, p. 447).

Instructional Materials.

Describe how the handouts. PowerPoints, etc. were created. They should be original. How did you determine the materials to be at the appropriate level for the audience?

Method of Evaluation

A description of the method/s of evaluation and its relationship to the learning outcomes, including substantiation from the literature. Explain how are you planning to evaluate the learning.

Conclusion

Remember each paragraph must be at least three sentences. Use quotes very sparingly, paraphrase and cite. If a quote is used, discuss it and cite with author, date and page number.

Submit your paper on the assignment page in Canvas early so that Turnitin can check grammar and similarity and word count. There should not be complete sentences that are similar even if the similarity score is less than 20%. It could be plagiarism. Rewrite the paper as needed and resubmit until it is correct. You may submit up to three times until the due date and time. Writing should be succinct and length should be under six pages of writing. This does not include title page or reference page.

Once the paper is in the final form, proof it for errors in the citations, APA format, and spelling not caught by spell check. It is best that you read it aloud. Make sure that the paragraphs flow. Save the paper with your lastnamefirstinitial_IPP2:
