BCN 15039 SMALL BUSINESS MANAGEMENT Task brief_REPORT _ & rubrics
Task
Following the previous case that we have worked for the mid-term exam; the current task will be based on the writing of a report. For the report, the student
must explain how he/she analyze the funding options for the startup which will offer clean and affordable energy to the final customers (B2C basis).
Thus, the student is expected to work in the following points:
1) An explanation of in which stage of the Small Business Lifecycle is the startup (please, bear in mind that the Small Business is a startup).
2) A definition of the legal structure for the startup and an explanation for that decision (containing pros and cons)
3) The most suitable funding options for the startup according to the previous two points.
4) Final recommendations.
This in an individual work and it will be delivered in the shape of a report which will be submitted in pdf format.
Formalities:
• Wordcount: 1.500 words
• Cover, Table of Contents, References and Appendix are excluded of the total wordcount.
• Font: Arial 12,5 pts.
• Text alignment: Justified.
• The in-text References and the Bibliography have to be in Harvard’s citation style.
Submission: Week 13 – Via Moodle (Turnitin). Deadline: Sunday 16/01/2022 23:59 CEST
Weight: This task is a 60% of your total grade for this subject.

• Outcome 2: Critically assess and apply suitable marketing and financing strategies to small businesses.
