Baltimore Medical System (BMS) is a community-based service organization located in Baltimore City. BMS is a local-based organization that is a self-governed, non-benefit system that is always working towards improving the well-being and wellness of the individuals who are medically inadequately serviced in the Baltimore region. Furthermore, BMS has a total of seven clinics as well as ten school-based well-being centers, all situated in Baltimore City. In addition, general health, deaf services, and mental well-being are some of the significant assistance provided by the organization. Additionally, BMS is the most extensive Federally Qualified Health Center(Fedder et al., 1994).

The health organization system is highly committed to improving well-being, wellness, and personal satisfaction in the organization's networks by giving safe, best character, open, and reasonable medical care.

BMS Goals

The main goal of BMS is the provision of high-quality care to individuals who need it. The organization has experts who will provide the best care to help anyone. The organization aims at making a difference in individuals' lives.

In the seven local clinics that the organization has, it serves at least 40,000 patients.

The organization main Strengths and Weaknesses are as follows(Memariani et al., n.d.):

Strengths

· Biggest Federally Qualified Health Center is available in Baltimore City. Thus, helping in improving the quality of life for the individuals in the Greater Baltimore region.

· It has more than seven local clinics making it have the most significant number of locations as a local self-governed, non-profit organization.

· Powerful community relationships

· The organization serves up to 50,000 patients(Mychaskiw & Schwartz, 2002).

Weaknesses

· Baltimore Medical System is located in one area

· Competitive market

· It becomes a challenge to access a large number of patients in time

· Faces competition from other clinics which provide FQHR

· Limited funding from federal funding sources; thus, the organization needs to look for other funding sources (Memariani et al., n.d.).

· Low attendance rate from the low-income patients

The organization is the primary competitor of the most significant number of locations situated in Baltimore. In addition, it competes with areas that have large hospitals, for example, Medstar.

BMS organization has a customer-focused orientation towards its practices and its procedures as it is highly committed to improving well-being, wellness, and personal satisfaction in the networks. The organization provides safety, best character, open and moderate medical care(Fedder et al., 1994). In addition, the organization works towards achieving customer satisfaction.
