The student will post one thread of at least 30050-400 words by each thread, students must support their assertions with at least 3 scholarly citations in current APA format for graduate students. Each reply must incorporate at least 2 scholarly citation(s) in current APA format for graduate student format. Any sources cited must have been published within the last five years. From the videos by Lyles and the textbook readings from Inaba and Cohen, we learned about treatments such as Methadone and Antabuse, also known as medication-assisted treatments (MATs). We also learned about the return of addiction disease as a “multidimensional response pattern” from Reske and Paulus.

Thread: From the readings and videos, respond to the following:

· How might a multidimensional response pattern influence and individual’s relapse when receiving MATs?

· As counselors, how can we educate clients about the biological aspects of their addiction when using MATs?
