Leaders and academics across different generations have emphasized the notion of education as a progressive instrument for individuals, families, communities, and nations at large. Nelson Mandela is quoted describing education as, “The most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world!” (Koller, 2016). The importance of education does not often bear immediate results, but the full impact spans generations and is a direct representation of the effort put today. Schooling also broadens an individual’s career options; therefore, proper policies should be put in place to foster continuous capacity building to guarantee brighter futures for individuals and societies.
