Projects are often started, planned, completed, and monitored over some time. Sometimes, the project is ongoing, sometimes it is completed in a short period, sometimes it is delayed a bit, and sometimes it is both. This is what project managers need to understand. It is helpful to understand what project management is, why it is essential, and the process that needs to be followed to plan and deliver a project's deliverables (Rowe, 2020). Project management is not simply putting together a project schedule, but it is also an effort to achieve effective project management. As such, a project manager is accountable to both our team and clients. Many project managers are more concerned with project achievement than with their company. If an ambitious team has nothing to show for itself but an unfulfilled promise, then it cannot deliver the desired results for its end-user. The process and result of a project are two different things (Rowe, 2020). When the work is being performed, the result is a product or service that meets the customer's needs. However, when working on a project, the customer needs helpful information to improve their quality or efficiency. It involves estimating the work to be completed by an organization in the current period (Rowe, 2020).

Job is the performance of an individual, organization, or other entity on a specific task, process, assignment or requirement, in a particular order or context. This is achieved by performing the task in a specific manner. A project manager is responsible for the overall project planning and implementation (Tereso et al., 2019). The job refers to the tasks, and tasks are just the components of a project. A project is the plan starting point for each action. This is the basis on which the project begins, and the plan goes forward to complete that project. To be more precise, the plan will cover all phases of the project considered at the completion date. It is important to note that a project is different from a project. This is because a project starts as a blueprint and becomes more detailed once the detailed work is done (Tereso et al., 2019). It is helpful to start with the minor parts of the plan. Whether for managing employees or other stakeholders, the project manager needs to keep in mind the primary issues when he or she is developing the management plan for a project. This plan is for management and not for any of the other stakeholders that might be affected. The management of a project involves more than managing resources (Tereso et al., 2019). It involves managing relationships with the stakeholders, identifying risks, and managing contingency plans. A project management plan is a blueprint for managing a large project, incredibly complex or involving many stakeholders. Although most project managers focus on specific areas, they also understand the entire project regarding everything it will complete (Tereso et al., 2019).

A project is a set of inputs and outputs required to accomplish and achieve the desired goal. The range of the project varies from complex to simple, which assists the team and management in understanding the level of the project. Project in organizations is designed by the leadership and managed by the management teams. According to (Radujković et al.2017), “Project management success relates to traditional measurements of cost, time and quality performance. The reason for initiating a project in an organization is to meet the client's expectations and achieve the desired aims and goals.

Five main characteristics can be followed while working on a project as they assist in managing a project either on a large or small scale.

· Define the scope of the project

· Required resources for the project

· Time to accomplish the given tasks

· Quality of the project and the associated product

Risk assessment

Project attributes help in analyzing and gathering the information about the data required for the project to start. Project attributes assist in monitoring, planning, controlling, and measuring the activities involved within the project flow. The key characteristics of a project are as follows:

· The project should have the starting and ending point clearly defined

· There should be a budget for a project to start and complete

· The changes should be instantly performed and made while working on a project

· The project also includes several steps, procedures that help in creating the project life cycle

· The project should always be unique

· Project is a process that helps the company to achieve a particular goal

Furthermore, working on a project is different from working on a daily routine day-to-day work. Because the project comprises of several steps, associated deadlines, investigations, making project reports & documentation, compiling the gathered information from various sources. In addition, the project involves the amount of work that can be done outside the range of the usual activities. However, the day-to-day routine work lies under the capacity of the specific department. The scope of the project is always high, depending upon the amount of work. Therefore, the management's commitment towards the project plays a vital role in making the project successful. The management team motivates the employees working on a project by providing them a direction. The leadership of the organization empowers the team members by initialing the project's scope. For instance, in my previous project, the association between the management and the employees plays a huge role in completing our project on a timely basis without any hurdles. Most organizations are facing challenges while working on large- or small-scale projects. Information technology is also confronting these challenges. Some of these challenges are as follows:

· Poor communication between the teams working on the projects

· Delay in delivering the modules

· Lack of project management training and practices

· A lot of project adjustments and lack of coordination between the members
