Structure of the assessment

Section 1 - Rationale (500 Words) (25% of final grade)

You will have decided on an ‘approach’ to the player report. Why this approach? What makes it the most appropriate? What support is there for this in the literature? Or in applied practice (football clubs)?

Section 2 - Player Report (1000 words) (50% of final grade)

What have you found out about the player? What are his strengths and weaknesses? What is the evidence for this?

Section 3 - Player Development (500 words) (25% of final grade)

What does he need to improve? How might this best be done?

In sections 1 and 3 you should make frequent reference to appropriate academic literature. What support is there for this in the literature?

Appendix 1 - You should include your reference list as an appendix

Appendix 2 – Your formative work at point 1 (23/11/2020) as per the discussion board

Appendix 3 – Your formative work at point 2 (23/11/2020) as per the presentation

Appendices 4+ - After that you should include any other tables, diagrams, text etc.
