ID issue and potential conclusion

SOC 101- Soc Research Process/Approach Activity

Select one issue from your life that could be a potential obstacle in the

accomplishment of your educational goals. Use step 1 – 7 and write a mini-

research proposal (outline) on what you would do to address this potential

obstacle. Use chapter 2 as a guide in this process. Write this in Outline Format.

d. Select one research design that would work for your proposal. State

why you selected this method/research design.

i. Select the design that best suits your Issue in step (a) above

e. Write a potential conclusion

i. What did you learn about your self

ii. What would you do to make sure this does not occur to you

and affect your education and career goals/plans

f. State how you will address any relevant ethical concerns

i. Select the relevant ethical concern regarding human subject

research

ii. Are those the only ethical matters that raise concern

g. Are there any other areas that need to be research that you are not

able to address in this proposal (areas that could help you address

the Issue you identified above).

i. Any other topics, or subtopics, that you could not addressed,

but you consider them to be relevant to your issue above.
