SMART Goal Review

I want to quit smoking Tobacco soon. I am determined that my ultimate SMART goal is to quit smoking Tobacco in the next 5 weeks of the semester. According to Lawlor (2012), Defining SMART goal parameters as they pertain to your goal helps ensure that your objectives are attainable within a certain time frame. I am determined to achieve this goal using the following SMART goal criteria.

Specific:

I don't like my current health status and behavior. Smoking Tobacco has made me lose focus on my career, lose many friends, and put my health life is at risk. I don't find any reason for not quitting this tobacco smoking habit. In the next 5 weeks of the semester, I want to quit smoking tobacco completely. I believe quitting Tobacco is the wise choice for my personal growth, health, and social life.

Measurable:

To ensure I am following through with my personal goal to quit smoking Tobacco, I will completely do the following in 5 weeks.

· I will do the morning run every day from 5 to 6:30 am

· I will enroll for gym sessions from 6 to 7 pm every day

· I will take 10 to 15 glasses of water daily for 5 weeks

· I will eat healthy food every day, including vegetables, carrots and milk to boost my immunity.

Achievable:

To completely achieve this goal, I will need a new online portfolio. To have an Online portfolio will require me to upload new portfolio materials and give my website a revamp. I will do this as soon as possible and set a goal timeline for a few days to ensure it is attainable.

Relevant:

Since I value my career and my well-being, SMART goal will be of great help. Quitting Tobacco will help me too.

· Improve health status and enhance the quality of life

· Rediscover smell and teste

· Reduce the risk of heart disease

· Live longer

Time-bound:

To achieve this goal, I will need to set a deadline of 5 weeks.
