Service Plan

I wish to volunteer at the military day care for at least an hour and a half for the duration of two weeks, which I hope will develop into a consistent activity. I wish to dedicate my volunteered time to assisting with the management of the environment of the organization championing for a clean and safe environment. I will take up simple maintenance tasks that include collection and disposal of trash, recycling, maintaining the grass & hedges, and such other activities. I would also like to designate some time to interact with the children of the community through brief storytelling/ read aloud and Q&A sessions with them.

I would encourage a small team of peers to volunteer at the same center as I am for efficiency in helping out as much as we possibly can. I, however, look forward to interacting with and probably initiating small projects based on recycling of collected waste into art with the children if possible.
