Having assumed the role of a project manager in a project designed to develop a comprehensive policy that will help in the management of pedestrian traffic flow in a metropolitan district, this paper seeks to delve into the measures I would take to engage stakeholders in the project. I will briefly describe the measures which I would take and also briefly explain why each measure would add value to the project. I will also describe the stakeholders who will be involved in this project. First, it should be noted that the management of pedestrian traffic is very crucial in any given town.

The first method which I would use to engage stakeholders in this project is digital channels. This is one of the best ways which can be used in this type of project to get in touch with the project stakeholders. It entails utilization of distinct digital platforms such as; websites, E-mails as well as other official social platforms to be able to communicate with stakeholders of the project. This method of engaging with stakeholders adds value to the project because it ensures that there is a smooth flow of communication, thus ensuring that the project observes the right schedule.

The second method which will be used to engage stakeholder in this kind of project is the utilization of town halls; they are utilized to manage investors query and also manage employee’s expectation(Andriof & Waddock,2017). This channel adds value to the project because it ensures that the stakeholders can come together and make suggestions regarding the attainment of the goals of the project.

The last method which I would use in this project to engage stakeholders in this project is personal connect, the main reason as to why I would make use of this method is because it enables the project stakeholders to understand the expectation and also ways which can be used to improve current engagements.  This project will have several stakeholders ranging from the top management, the project manager, peers, resource managers, and regional transport authorities (Payne & Calton,2017).
