Benefits of Information Technology in the Global Economy

Information technology (IT) is an important essential aspect in of the global economy. Through information technology, a business can be conducted efficiently around the world. a company can transact business with another company in a different country. Information technology has helped many farmers to export their products since they can search for markets easily online. It has helped in redefining the society, and also, through its impact on the global economy, it has redefined the world economic concept. According to the study, information technology has a positive impact on the global worldwide economy, and also it has improved the living standards of people. through the advances in internet connection, the spread of globalization has increased. Information technology has helped developing countries since it has boosted its economy. Also, it has boosted expanded the economy in developing growing counties. Through Broadband projects, many rural areas have been able to benefit since they get internet access, thus creating progress in communities. Information technology helps with indirect job creation. This is because through the ICT sector, many people have been employed across the world. ??the study states that in the United States alone, it expects information technology jobs to increase this year. Information technology has helped in the growth of GDP and the emergence of new service industries. Through Information technology, many public services have become available online, making it easier for the citizen to conduct business. Information technology has created business innovation in that approximately 95% of businesses have an online presence. Through the internet connection, business owners can now reach out to customers and compete for market share. ??recently social media has been the biggest most important marketing tool for many businesses. People can now advertise their goods on social media and communicate directly with their customers. This has helped to improve the economy of a country.
