The Company at hand for which I will be building a sales team for is a rim manufacturing company. There are many reasons why I have chosen to advance and go with such a company. One of those being my father is in this industry, and I hope to one day continue in his footsteps and have a rim manufacturing company of my own. My company will manufacture hoops for after-market performance wheels. With such a competitive and unique company, I would need very competitive and unique team of individuals.
First, I would need an individual to be the head salesperson. I would need this individual to be the leader of the sales team, which ideally would consist of five to seven people, depending upon the success of the company. I would need this team to be up to date on current products, and all the current manufacturers. They would have to be intriguing and innovative in their sales approach for me to feel as though they were an asset to the company. Second, I would need a marketing team. I would start out with one person for marketing to be the head as you could call it of the marketing for the company. This person would have to possess great skills in media, and social networking. Thirdly, I would hire someone in Human Resources, this individual would essentially be overseeing various aspects of the company. Lastly, I would hire someone strictly for bookkeeping, and duties such as that. This person would oversee financial transactions, and accounting issues.
Overall, I would want my team of individuals to be adaptable, efficient, and hard working. I would want them to be innovative, and creative in their approach to every job given to them. However, most importantly I would want everyone to possess the ability to work as a team. The main emphasis with my company would be team work, and the power that alone possesses.
