Study Plan
Becoming a competent nurse is necessary in ensuring the lives of patients and individuals are safe. This is built through a process which starts with having effective time management skills. It is on this basis that I decided to develop an effective study plan that ensures there is optimal management of time and maximization of resources needed in attaining the set goals and targets. I plan on exercising as a NP after graduation and not only getting the necessary papers and passing the nursing examinations but ensuring that I am competent enough based on acquired knowledge and skills. Therefore, my main priority is assessing my current status in terms of knowledge and skills and determining the needed improvements.
In this paper, a study plan is developed based on the identified areas of weaknesses and improvements. This aims at maximizing the positive results from the use of the study plan and utilization of all available resources.
Overview of personal strengths and areas where improvement is needed
After a thorough evaluation, I realized that I have more strength in pharmacology area of study. This is contributed by intense research and reading I used to do and which I found I prefer doing most of the time. Also, I realized I like subjecting myself to assessment tests and evaluating my level of understanding of a topic learnt particularly when it comes to pharmacology. However, I realized there is a need for improvement in psychotherapy. In attaining successful improvements, I plan on using my strengths in addressing the improvement area. This include reading as many sources as possible and doing regular exercises to enhance level of understanding.
