2. What specific program details will be included in the proposal? Specific program details that will be in the proposal is the case statement. This is when you explain why your organization needs money. Other details would be: What is the purpose? Who you are? When does the organization need the money? What is the organization's priorities? Then lastly you would want to wrap it up by thanking them for their time and consideration of your request. To be on a more specific side, you should include an executive summary, background statement, statement of community need, project goals or purpose, project objectives, action plan or method, timeline, evaluation methoda, budget narrative, other and future funding sources, attachments or additional supplemental material, and then the final preparation and cover letter. What specific program/service are you asking the Foundation to fund? Being that some requirements may differ from foundation to foundation, specific program/service I would be asking for would be expenses such as the cost associated with fundraising, and technology systems. I could even ask for funding of artifacts storage space, appliances, equipments, and furniture, if needed.
3. What kinds of goals and objectives will be included in the proposal? Some goal/objectives would include obtaining perpetual easements on private lands, expanding public ownership, access, and stewardship of land, strengthening related federal, state and local funding, policies and incentives, increasing public awareness of and engagement on the benefits of landscape scale protection, and increasing options on private lands for those whom perpetual easements are not an option.
4. What is the proposed funding amount? The proposal funding amount would be $25,000.00. The amount and duration granted will be decided during proposal review, based on a number of factors, including budget size and impact on land conservation in the Lowcountry.
5. If there is an online application process, have you set up an account? Yes there is an application process along with opening an account. But I also read this information-New applicants – Please note, we are no longer accepting proposals from new Lowcountry arts organizations in 2021. However, please contact us to start a conversation ahead of our 2022 deadline. We have to see your work before you can apply. *I'm not sure if this is good are not because I may have to find another foundation because when I went to go and apply this was the message that came up on the grantee portal: This campaign is no longer active.
