Background Information

· Brief history of the issue

In America, more than thirty thousand people die annually annually die from being shot or gunshot wounds. In that case period new sentence , handgun not all gunshot wounds are from handguns. brutality is among top one of the main causes of untimely downfalls people can experience downfalls and not die. in America because victims are disproportionately young individuals. This doesn’t make sense. Victims being disproportionately young could be due to gang violence which is often achieved through the use of illegally obtained weapons, not all of which are hand guns. Additionally, in the year 2010, the non-fatal crimes committed with guns were estimated to be 337, 960 and about seventy thousand individuals received treatment at health institutions emergency section precisely for minimal lethal wounds from gunshots. source needs to go here Gun control policy is an issue of urgency in America since, a country of such richness; gun violence is expected to be unusually high. This does not make sense new section of the requirements starts here Problem

· General accounting of the current problem (stated in a couple of sentences)

The firearm homicide level in America is about seven times more than the aggregated assassination level of twenty-two compared to other wealthy nations, this does not make sense. Also—assassination is the killing of a prominent person for some reason; since there are more people in the general public than there are prominent people, the homicide level will be much more than the assignation level. Be sure to use the correct words. although there are minimum discrepancy in the general crime levels between America and other high-income countries (Truman, 2012). The reasons for the increased violent crime not all violent crime is gun crime in the U.S. with comparison to other countries of similar income levels is the increased gun ownership prevalence, and reduced gun control policies and regulations. Need a source here. This seems to be opinion rather than fact, since I’ve seen many areas with very high gun-ownership levels “reduced” gun control policies, and very low gun crime rates. In that case, the analysis will focus on gun policy issue in America, how the procedure has been implemented and its effectiveness and finally various recommendation in dealing with the issue at hand (Lee, 2016).

This belongs with the history—which was to be brief.

A person owns a gun for different reasons, but once the gun fall in the wrong hand, colloquial the damage could be heartbreaking. Illegal owners of firearms have committed most of the violent crimes and assaults. The regulations on gun possession and ownership have not received high attention from the state and relevant stakeholders. I believe this is incorrect as I read something about some trying to make new laws on a regular basis. Remember, this is to be factual, not opinion. Firearms regulations started to surface in 1915 when there was the proposition of the handguns commerce ban. S,o the effort to ban handguns resulted in more firearm crime? That’s what this indicates. However, it can be stated that the bull I don’t know what you mean here was not necessarily a strict gun control regulation. The control of gun ownership is said to primarily gain momentum in 1919 when a federal act incorporating ten percent manufacturers’ excise tax on the firearms was passed (Meg Smith & Leah Carliner, 2008). This indicates that it is during this time that gun control policy began to make sense and the importance of controlling firearms was of great importance. This says that increasing a tax on firearms caused an increase in gun ownership and this made sense. I’m not sure I follow the logic here. What followed was a proposition of several gun control bills regulating the interests of business of gun during the 1920s. good that you didn’t use an apostrophe here I’m going to stop correcting everything here since this is more history. What followed was the enactment of the federal gun regulation which prohibited concealable firearms mailing in 1927 (Wilson, 2016). The public fear of the gangsters led to the discussions on federal guns regulations in Roosevelt’s time. As a result of these discussions, there were two legislations which aimed at restricting the interstate guns business and guns exchange among a capable criminal group of society.

There have been increased talks on the subject of gun regulation and arguments drift towards the fundamental propositions concerning whether guns make people feel a lot secure or less intact. Though firearm regulation is associated with gun purchase restriction, there has been an increase in deaths and criminal attacks by use of guns on American soil. There have been increased overturning of the laws and regulations concerning firearms possession by the supreme court in Columbia and Chicago districts, and it is clear that the gun regulation incentives in America fail to disarm the authentic citizens above the group of twenty-one years so regulations aren’t disarming citizens who are older than 21. I believe that, but I don’t know how it helps the analysis. (District of Columbia v. Heller, 2008). Instead, gun regulation aspects pay attention to defining conditions that limit an individual from possessing a gun, implementing laws to hinder prohibited individuals from maintaining weapons, restricting concealed firearms being carried beyond home boundaries, and regulating the firearms design to improve the people and individual safety. It is evident that the federal law has placed restrictions concerning individuals who are not allowed to own a gun such as criminals, fugitives, mentally disabled persons among others. It has been stated out that the minimum age at which an individual can buy a gun is 21years, but they have to buy from licensed gun dealers. The policy has been developed and implemented to ensure that the safety of the people is improved and those who own the firearms bear full responsibility.

Incidents involving firearms have left lots colloquial of people grieving the loss of their loved ones in America. There has been the occurrence of a mass shooting on a regular basis source? in America in the recent times, and the uncertainty of encountering gun violence is evidently high. The development and implementation of the gun reform policy are accelerated by the fact that no individual believes that it is essential to tolerate the violence levels but is also crucial to out-rightly say have solutions this problem. The gun control policy for the past twenty has remained primarily unchanged at the national level. In the past seventy-five years, the federal firearms policy has experienced only critical changes. Since the GCA enactment in 1968, the policy changes that have been encountered have only weakened the gun policy (Christopher). The state and local have placed increased focus on the issue following the enactment of the handgun regulation in the nation which permanently banned the handguns private ownership and imposed restrictions on long guns possession and storage. The courts have been in support and actively taken part in development and implementation of the policy for the sake of protecting the interest of the people at large.

The gun control policy effectiveness and ability to meet its goals can only be assessed based on the outcomes and evaluating whether since the policy introduction deaths caused by guns have reduced or increased. Primary to effective gun control regulation is the potential to identify increased-risk, prohibited individuals trying to purchase firearms and prevent such purchases. The unionized administration’s attempt to achieve the goal was founded on Brady charter, but before the implementation of the law, several states had begun the fight against illegal ownership of firearms. Additionally, the policy has failed to sufficiently remain effective by failing to bear substantial control and oversight of the persons who would benefit from laws evasion. However, it is clear that the Congress has time and again failed and led to regulation weakening, oversight, and federal licensed gun dealers’ accountability. For instance, the 2005 law commerce protection arms offer extensive projections from litigations against the manufacturers and retail sellers of the firearms. The increased mass shooting is a clear indication that gun control policy has failed in reforming the system and much needs to be done.

Policy Options (including barriers, feasibility & current applicable policy)

· The options available for addressing the problem

· Whether there are current applicable policies that need to be expanded, adjusted or eliminated

Recommendations this is a correct heading

Guns design regulation

All guns are not made equal. One feature of firearms that is of great importance to the peoples’ safety, especially regarding the mass shooting is the capacity of the ammunition. For instance, the large volume magazines are said to hold more than ten ammunition rounds and this is an increase in sometimes the number of times a person can shoot before reloading. It is essential for the legislators to formulate and implement laws that regulate the creation of particular gun designs (Phillip, 1995). In that case, the manufacturers can make guns in a manner that unauthorized individuals cannot fire them, and thus, limit unintentional and personal inflicted killings.

Registration and licensing

If America possessed a comprehensive arrangement of certification and matriculation especially for weapon owners and rifles, enforcing the supervision on the contingent exchange and scouting private transmissions to banned individuals would indicate far more comfortable and achievable. In response, the permit would offer the buyer’s pre-clearance (William, 1999). The present challenge of paying close attention on unknown and unclear inclinations to make detentions and intellectual examination prior to making a gun transaction can be authorized to help stop, as the action could take place prior to the license delivery. In that case, it means that the system would result to an undercut in the defense that the firearm transferor failed to recognize the receiver’s condition or importance to carry out the transactional exchange through a firearm business individual who is licensed.

These are typical recommendations. What about the criminals who are obtaining guns illegally and committing crimes in areas that already have restricted high magazine capacity and require background checks and pre-approval? These and other regulations exist in California, yet those wishing to obtain firearms illegally can do so. Remember to consider all points of view so you can have the best possible recommendations.

Conclusion

The gun violence problem in United States society is sufficient, I don’t think this is what you mean whether analyzed in a period of beneficial lifespan disorientation, malfunction or financial expenses. You have to do this in the paper in order to claim it at the end. Its rise is mainly unparalleled among the well-performing countries. The current gun regulations weaknesses have made this burden heavier through the establishment of inferior quality measures for regulating firearms ownership and essential gaps in designing protocols in limiting access of weapons by prohibited individuals. The politics in the country have played a significant role in the enactment of the gun control laws, and this puts public safety on the line. It is essential for the key stakeholders to work together for the sake of improving the public safety and make sure that the firearms do not land in the awry arms. In that case, high attention should be placed on regulating the secondary market because most of the offenders get guns from allies or secondary market.

You included a great deal of history.

Be sure to proofread carefully. You have many writing errors, including word usage errors. Avoid mixing terms (such as making a statement about “violent crimes” then writing as though all violent crimes are gun-related or comparing assassination rates in a group of countries with killing rates among the general population of another country.

Using the posted paper template would have helped you organize your paper better.

I am finding a recommendations section but not an options section. Your recommendations are very typical ones but do not deal with the issue of those who obtain firearms illegally even in areas that have these laws.

Be sure to use citations for everything you state as fact.

You had a reference list that included some good sources. I especially like the inclusion of D.C. versus Heller.
