Rubric for Final presentation and paper: Early World Literature

For this final presentation (200 pts),

1. Please read the novel chosen from the list

2. Review the reading/readings from Early World Literature to which this novel is related.

3. The presentation should include a short biography of the author, a summary of the novel, and a discussion of how this novel is related to an earlier work. Be really specific with details that connect the two. You can make a power point and include illustrations.

4. The paper for this project should address the same question as the presentation. This should be a five paragraph essay with a thesis statement and internal documentation. A works cited page must be included. Four sources please. Look for articles or essays that might support what the main connections of the two works are. MLA format.

This is a formal paper so there are no YOU, contractions, First person pronouns, slang, etc. Standard format with heading, page numbers, double spaced, indent paragraphs, font 12 point in any block print. Review the rules for writing if you have a question or ask me!!!!
