Your Assignment:
You must revise your first essay: correcting, cutting and adding where necessary.
Revision is perhaps the hardest part of the writing process. You must significantly change your original essay to both address underlying problems and improve your final draft. Even if you received an A on your paper, there is still room for improvement.
Step 1: Compare your essays to see which score is lower.
Step 2: Retrieve the original assignment sheet for the essay to be revised.
Step 3: Compare what the assignment sheet asked for to what you wrote.
Step 4: Change/delete/refine your ideas/words.
Step 5: Proofread, check your spelling, punctuation and formatting.
You will receive a brand new grade for this: Your revision grade will REPLACE the original grade. If you do worse, there is a possibility that you will have to take the lower grade.
Use Revision: p. 419-37 as a guide.
IMPORTANT: No late revisions will be accepted for any reason. Early revisions are fine.
