1) According to me , soft drink industry is in Decline stage , its an stage were the demand for the product begins to fall and profit ratios becomes almost half .In my view today consumer are more concerned about their health and fitness in which soft drink plates a huge role .They prefer more of diet drinks which can maintain their heath goals .because regular soft drinks like Pepsi, cola etc. contain high fructose corn syrup and have been blamed for contributing to various diseases. 2) In my views soft drink industry should focus more on healthier drinks and sugar free drinks specially for fitness freak consumers . we all know that soft dinks are majorly popular in younger generation so they should target more their . 3) It depends upon the demand for the soft drinks in the market as we cannot say that it has been fully vanished but its in decline stage .according to me if Companies like Pepsi, Coca-Cola have not changed their strategies as mentioned in above points then I don't think so any one can save these industries. They have to change their product ingredients as we can see alternative products easily available in the market as per need/demand of the customer .
