Question 1
Group work was implemented where clients can openly talk about AIDS and substance abuse. The knowledgeable group leaders skills that are evident and effective communication also have great leadership skills for this group setting. The group leaders try to build a sense of communication and a trusting relationships with clients. This is so they will open up more freely and the group leaders are able to help more problems and other concerns they may have. The group leader has created a safe place for five clients that they would have such a safe place and this helps the client feel validated and they feel like they are getting the attention they need.
Question 2
After clients complete the group they will be given a follow-up appointments or with other similar groups. It is a big transition going from having talk to someone weekly and the group comes to a close. The clients should be provided with follow-up calls, therapy sessions for those who are in need and want to receive those services. Also they will be given other resources for support as we..
