2. The source is The New York Times which is a leading news reporter for the nation. The New York Times has a very powerful following. Readers of The New York Times are dedicated to their news paper choice. Because of the strong following the paper has it leads people to listen to what they publish even if it’s no completely factual. The article is focused on the issue and has some clearly stated points to help convey its message. The author creates a sense that you need to interact and voice your opinion.

3. The report from The New York Times  creates a sense of urgency by putting in dates on when to call by and when it will be enforced. The author also answers common questions about what is going to change with the new law. A reader of this article will see the deadline date of when to call and voice their opinion causing them to act quicker than if there was no date or if they had to do research to find this information.
