1) One of my favorite childhood memories is when I would go to my great grandmas house on Wednesdays. We would play games and watch movies together, but one day she tried to teach me how to knit and it was a fun thing to be able to do together. She is still around, but it isn't the same. We sold her house because she wasn't able to live there alone and she now lives an hour away. I only get to see her twice a month and it just isn't the same. She is also getting older so we can't talk together as much. This has changed the way that I do things. Now when I have the opportunity to spend time with people that I love I try to do it because you never know how much time you have with someone and you should take the time you have.

2) Hello, My name is Hope Woods. I am a senior here at Lindenwood studying public health and nursing! I am going to respond to the first prompt by telling you guys about one of my favorite memories as a child. One of the first memories that came to my mind when reading the prompt was my family and I eating dinner together almost every night. I really treasure the memories and moments spent together with my family at the dinner table. Looking back I can remember how hectic life could be sometimes with my parents juggling their jobs, the household, and taking care of four children but no matter what they always made time to make a nice homecooked meal. As an adult, I love to cook and spend time with my loved ones over lunch or dinner. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen and usually host a Sunday night dinner to get everyone together. These memories have helped me realize no matter how busy life may seem we should take some time each day to fuel our bodies and check in with our loved ones, even if it is not around the dinner table.
