Research Topic for Information Governance 8

Abstract

The topic I choose for my research paper is “Information governance in Mobile Cloud Computing”. As the advancements of technology are so sporadic and uncertain in different domains it is challenging to operate on the traditional principles of computing to fulfill the need of the user. Mobile cloud computing is the usage cloud computing to deliver application to mobile devices. The capacity and feature-rich application are substantial for the Software and computing of a mobile device this enables the user to access these applications through the browser over internet with help cloud infrastructure in terms of storage, platform, computing and number of the devices. The availability of services enables to access the information of the context, networkability, network intelligence, and location in terms of optimization of the computing and user experience. But the major issues to address are bandwidth, capacity and fluctuations in the network for the service delivery based and network service that the user opted. Allocation of the resources to deliver these intensive applications over distributed servers and cloudlets to run over a wireless LAN, they are using data caching to work offline, closing the gap between mobile and web application to operate same as native applications.

However, these applications developed and implemented. One interesting factor to address majorly is security and data governance for the Bring your own Device (BYOD) in the organization to accommodate the infrastructure cost.

It made me to Choose and this topic and address the issue and possible ways to achieve better information governance in mobile cloud computing.
