Review a recent study that you have read or used for a paper in a recent class. After rereading it carefully, determine the type of research method it would be labeled. Briefly explain the context and content of the study and explain why you determined the study to be either a quantitative, qualitative, or mixed method type.

The two research methods of quantitative and qualitative research can be broken down into many different types of research designs. As an example, quantitative research could only be looking at descriptive statistics by reviewing the mean, median, and mode of a testing sequence, or it could look to determine how an intervention might affect these same means by using inferential statistics by comparing dependent variables to each other. Using the same study, identify the specific research design used, and explain what research elements exist to support that design.
