Research question
What is the impact of bhang use on facilitating criminality and is it different from the influence of alcohol consumption and criminality among the youths?
Thesis Statement
The influence of bhang use to criminality is different from alcohol consumption influence and criminality among the youth.
The increase in criminality among the youth is linked to their trend of using drugs. Bhang is one of the drugs that influences the youths to engage in criminality due to impaired judgment and ways of seeking money to purchase the drugs. Most of the criminal gangs also engage in drugs used before executing their criminal acts. Alcoholism also contributes to the influence of criminality due to impaired judgment. However, the effects made by the two drugs are different such that bhang has high influences to crime than those using alcohol.
This study will be essential to the current world whereby we have increasing drug use among the youths than it used to be in the past. Drug use has increased due to increased availability of the drug among the youths. Youths also influence each other to engage in drug use especially those in gang groups. Drugs use enable to the youth to engage in crime they never expected to such as rape, public disturbances, and violence. These crimes are directly linked to the use of drugs because if the drugs were not available they would not occur.
As a result, there is increasing desired to solve the problems of drugs. The society is asking what should be done to lessen criminality. There is a high interest in solving the problems of criminality. The way to determine the effective ways of reducing criminality is through identification of the cause of crime. Drug-induced crime should be reduced because they are high among the youths. This lead to the development of other questions, does criminating drugs help in reducing crime? When drugs use is considered crime will have an impact in reducing the level of crime in the society. Various nations have criminated certain drugs such as cocaine and bhang. It is necessary to study the trend of crime in these areas and identify any changes after incriminating drugs used. In addition, the use of alcohol is not criminated among many people hence it is hard to determine the effect it would have in incriminating drugs.
in addition, there have been cases of drugs traffickers who have been prosecuted for the act; hence criminating drugs would mean that such crimes will reduce the number of people arrested for drug trafficking. However, most of the drugs are sold in black markets whereby it is hard to identify them. Then what should be done to ensure that criminated drugs are not sold among the youths? Just criminating drug would not affect the level of criminality if the incriminating activity do not impact the lives of the youth targeted. Therefore, it is essential for the youths to also participate in enforcing the laws developed of drugs incriminating instead of just focusing of the implementation which may not lead to the intended changes of reducing drugs. At this point, it is essential to ask ourselves whether criminating drugs would be conducive in reducing crimes. There some drawback on the impacts created by criminating crime in reducing crime because drugs may continue to be solved and used by the youth hence the incrimination would not yield the intended results. Therefore, they should be a way of convincing the youths to embrace the intention behind drug criminality. There should be the creation of awareness about the existing drug criminality which will help in enlightening the youths on the intent of drugs use. The engagement of the youths in the implementation plan of the drugs crimination is likely to help in reducing crimes.
Consequently, it would be unfair to incriminating both alcohol and bhang, yet they do not have similar effects to the body. The contributions of the two drugs in influencing criminality are not similar. It would be right to incriminate one that has higher influence than the other. There are many people who consume alcohol, yet they behave responsibly and do not engage in crimes; there is low evidence about alcohol influence of crime. On the other hand, there are people who consume bhang yet retain their good behaviors. It is essential to identify that drugs have different effects on the body and brain of a person which is translated to their behavior. Therefore, incriminating all the drugs is inappropriate because it will face more substance to people who like intoxication.
This study will evaluate the difference between the influence of bhang and criminality as well as the impact of alcohol on criminality and provide a conclusion on which drugs should be incriminated and those that should not, due to the effects they have in influence people to engage in crime. The researcher will provide arguments and evidence on the relationship of drugs and criminality and offer advice to the society on the issue of drugs and criminality.
