1. Your PROPOSED research design must include human participants and be of one of the design types presented in the learning modules for this course (Reference: Creswell, J. W., & Guetterman, T. C. (2019). Educational research: Planning, conducting, and evaluating quantitative and qualitative research) (
do NOT
attempt the following design types: Mixed-methods, descriptive statistics only, meta-analysis, or text-only reviews).
2. Data must NEVER be collected without Institutional Review Board approval.
a. You are only PROPOSING a research study. Do not actually engage human participants or collect data.
b. Do Not write about your proposed research with past-tense verbs as if the study has already been conducted.
3. Review the grading rubric before submitting your presentation.
The presentation must be 15 slides and must include the following elements:
· An introduction;
· A literature review section;
· A section describing YOUR PROPOSED research design for advancing the body of knowledge for your topic;
· A section describing YOUR PROPOSED sampling strategy;
· A section describing YOUR PROPOSED data gathering methods;
· A section describing YOUR PROPOSED data analysis (you are PROPOSING research only, not conducting it); and
· A references section (you must cite a minimum of 5 articles from scholarly, peer-reviewed journals for this assignment).
