Research and Analysis

This class requires every student to prepare a research proposal related to a business dilemma or management question. This project has two parts:

· Part One: The Literature Review

· Part Two: Management Question/Research Question

In total you should have a 10 - 14 pages (or maximum 3500 words) paper that:

· Identifies a research question

· Identifies the research objectives

· Includes a literature review from at least five (5) sound primary resources

· Identifies the data collection method

· Identifies the sample population for the study

· Identifies and justifies the type of study you plan to perform

All papers need to be in APA format, which includes a cover page and references as a separate document not included in the 10 – 14 (or maximum 3500 words) pages requirement.

Prior to submission, students should make sure their work reflects integration of all course learning outcomes. The submission should be 3000 words +/- 10% (not including title page, abstract, reference pages or appendices). The analysis must be supported by at least 5 academically sound sources of information. The submission must utilize APA formatting.

Review through SafeAssign is included during the submission process. Students are encouraged to submit the assignment through SafeAssign Direct prior to official submission.

Please make sure the content of your paper is written in your own words to avoid plagiarism, include APA citations when quoting or paraphrasing information from outside resources, and include each reference on an APA formatted reference page.

Research Question:

How does Tiktok affect teenagers in the United States?

-Null Hypothesis: Tik Tok does not have a psychological effect on teenagers in the united states.

-H1: Tik tok has negative psychological impact in teenagers in the united states.

Dependent Variable: The Psychological effect.

· How to Measure? By Levels of Anxiety (High or Low)

Independent Variable 1: TicToK.

· How to Measure? By Time usage (High, Medium, Low)

Independent Variable 2: Teenagers In the United States

· How to measure? Age

Population: Teenagers In Florida/ Tampa/

Sampling: How you collect data,

Data collection:

-Descriptive statistics- Mean,Mode,Median.

- T-Test

-Correlations analyisis

Note: When it comes to Part 2, sampling, collecting data, and running tests. The teacher wants us to write about how we will manage to do that…. She doesn’t want us to actually go and collect data and proof results. For example: my population is teenagers in Tampa/Florida, and I would go to a specific high school there (doesn’t matter which one) and give survey to the teachers so that they give it to the teenagers… that’s one way I would collect data. So that last part she wants as to talk about what would we do, How would I collect data, what type of data would we collect and how we would analyze the data and What type of study would I perform.
