Problem description

Are you writing about problems in general or these problems relate to this company? You need to describe the problem faced by their company and how it affects their operations

Stock outs are common in warehouses. Stock outs result in lost sales and reduces customer satisfaction and loyalty (Gu, 2010). Inaccuracies regular occur in inventories. Warehouse coordinators find their inventory numbers fail to match their items in the warehouse. This makes coordinators think they have items available when they actually don’t. This leads to the re-ordering of wrong items in the warehouse. Warehouse coordinators should hence use modern inventory systems to avoid stock discrepancies. Staying organized and aware of the stock of items in the store is also important to avoid stock outs. Conducting regular physical stock outs is necessary in warehouses. Tracking and updating stock provide awareness to the warehouse coordinator thus avoiding stock outs.

Delays in shipments are devastating for both warehouses and customers alike. Delays are often caused by poor courier services or warehouse mismanagement. Shipment delays seriously dent the reputation of the warehouse. Time is crucial for every warehouse and it is important to find ways of avoiding shipment delays. Warehouse coordinators should regularly communicate with suppliers. Regularly communicating with suppliers and informing them early about orders is recommended to enable them adapt to new and unexpected requirements and supply them in good time (Kimball, 2011). Coordinating the special, personal and technical aspects of the shipment is also important. Clear communication avoids errors in information transmission and time loss during processing thus avoiding unnecessary delays.

Warehouse coordinators should perform regular planned checks on the stock levels in the warehouse. Working with a product buffer is advised to ensure there are more goods than required in the warehouse. The product buffer enables the warehouse to work independently. Missing items is a common problem in warehouses. This occurs when stock items are mistaken for being backstock of other items. It happens when the warehouse coordinator places items in wrong lots or behind stocks of items belonging to the slot. This results in incorrect inventories which translates to lost items. Warehouse coordinators should hence reorganize the warehouse until the missing items are found. Every part of the warehouse should be useful. This is done by properly labelling all the shelves and tracking items stored in these shelves. Warehouse coordinators can also update warehouse management software to keep track of items in the warehouse. Taking inventories is also advised as lost items can be found during inventories.

Company Profile

You have repeated this in several places

Al Zahrawi Medical is one of the leading medical companies in Saudi Arabia that provides quality services and products to clinics, hospitals and laboratories. We have excellent staff who have high work ethics and good morals thus leading to the sustainable growth of our company. Medical Technology aims to provide greatness and prosperity to companies and customers in the region. We aim to develop an efficient sales team that builds sustainable relationships thereby marketing our therapeutic programs to patients and companies. We focus on successfully executing our growth strategy to strengthen our company by helping customers share knowledge. We also provide medical innovation to improve the health of customers.

Chapter Two: Methodology

Please re-organize this chapter into three introduction, ,primary data sources ( include an empty sample of the questioner , you have mentioned you did interviews so mention with whom and what are the questions you asked, also you said you did call pls explain). Another section about secondary sources

Be clear and organized

This project was done based on the company warehouse analysis. Some of the information were utilized from the external sources and the primary data. The data which was used in this project was obtained from the internet based on some companies as discussed above. This companies have different structures or the organizational structure. Data which was utilized in the company is such as how many clients attend warehouse, what are the number of stock e warehouse (Wang, 2010). Some of the secondary data which was used to accomplish this project involves, company excel sheets for the stock sale in the past years, the supplier’s tender orders for the last 4 years. Also, the internet was so helpful in most of the data required, articles with company analysis, journals and other conference articles.

This secondary data was helpful to understand the context of warehouse analysis base on the company structure. Primary data is one of the important data collection method which help to accomplish the all the project (Myerson, 2012). This involve the administering of the questionnaires to the participants in the company. This was one of the reliable sources which was used to obtain most of the information needed for the study. Some of the interviews were done among the executive of the company. They share what is going on within the all company as per their goals and objectives. Also, some of the primary sources were obtained through calls on mobile phones. This included calling regular currents clients who usual participate in the company. People from surrounding what does this mean we also include to participate on the data collection. They were being interview about some few questions regarding the accompaniment of data collection which was used include questionnaires and calls recording.

Chapter Three: Data Analysis and findings

This chapter need total restructure. You did not really write any analysis

I need a section for every source of information and results obtained from it

For example, the questionnaire

After you explained that you have a 48% respond. I need every question asked with a graph representing the answers and a small paragraph explain what you conclude from this. I do not see how age information is important to this research.

For the informal interview, you write who was the interviewee, the questions you askes, answers and what you conclude

Same for the phone call, with whom, why did you do them and what do you get

You are discussing three problems, so from the information you have gathered, you need to write the reasons for each.

This chapter outlines the data analysis and findings followed to describe the findings used in the project. The finding involves related questions to the topic under the study .The data were evaluated and analyzed to identify the findings, provide descriptions and explore the relation between the warehouse process, stocks and employees attitude towards warehouse activities (Lyon, 2017). Why are u referencing this Also, to determine the need of using the current technology in warehouse activities in the company.

Data collected from well-structured questionnaires completed by 50 warehouse employees(n=50), a 48% response rate was achieved. Assumption out of the 150 company employees only 50 employees in the warehouse experience some of the challenges in the process involved in warehouse.

This happens in company where every employee is entitled different parts of working departments. Hence most of them are not involve in ware house activities most of them participate in health activities. Some of the departments involve the procurement department which link to the warehouse activities, clerical departments, billing department where all the financial statements are generated (Vaisman, 2014). Why are u referencing this

Some of the findings were done through the phone call, this involves asking the clients how are they comfortable with ware house activities. All the questions captured in the questionnaires were asked on the mobile phones.

A total of 80 questionnaires were obtained, however, there were only 50 questionnaires were important for this research and qualify criteria required. This represent 48% of the total expected warehouse population.

Regardless of the low rate of response which was obtained or refusal of employees to provide the response, it’s not well known nevertheless it was first time for them to be asked questions regarding the context of warehouse (Myerson, 2012).

The remaining 30 questionnaires were unusable 20 of the respondents did not fill completely the questionnaires. The questionnaires consisted of three sections only section one and two were filled in some completely.10 of the respondent did not meet the criteria for the questionnaires, they had joined the company in few days before the data finding. They had insufficient information about the company warehouse process and structure.

The questionnaires which was used consist of three sections. First section consists of demographic questions which also term as bio data such as age, year of birth, sex, years of experience, level of education training and other personal assets. Second part consist of data describing the company warehouse process and other activities correlational to the demographic questions. Third section data obtained from the warehouse process and other activities will be examined together.

One of the method used for data analysis and findings is descriptive statistical analysis this was use in identifying and evaluation of frequencies and the and total percentages to answer all the entire questions as per the questionnaires (Ramaa, 2012). According to the findings not all the company employees answered the questions hence the calculation is based on the total number of respondents who answered the questions. Also, the statistical significance of the finding was analyzed using the Fisher exact test in determination of the of relationship between the selected variable.

Discussions of findings

Section one: Demographic questions.

This is not part of the study but the set data was developed to give description of the demographic variable of the sample and to check any asses to any study findings. The demographic question structure consisted of sex, years, experience time and others. Most of the respondent disregard the open-ended question in this section of the questionnaires. Only 10% of the respondent responded to the open-ended questions regarding the company.

Association between the age and the warehouse process involved in the company. Why is this connection highlighted

The age of the respondent among the sample ranged from 25-years. All the respondent answered the question regarding 100% of the respondent. The biggest population of the company range age of 25-35 years they were 60% of the company population and 40% are above 35-34 years. In this study the output of the age in correlation with warehouse process shows that most of the young people in the disorganization participate largely to the company.

Adequacy of training of the warehouse process

The respondent was asked if all were adequately trained about the warehouse process. Of the 50 respondents only 80% response were received.

Chapter Four: Conclusions and Recommendations

Conclusions

the conclusion is a summary for all the research with the findings of the concluded from the data you have gathered

All of this is very general and does not reflect any in-depth information

In this chapter, the data analysis finding and methodology and the findings discussion has been highlighted. The overall findings of this study have been discovered to be consisted with the research of several studies on the warehouse company analysis. Additionally, the impact of the demographic questions the illustration of the researcher on study. Data analysis and findings were used to find the correlation of each aspect of the demographic question and other questions in the questionnaires.

The study based on the secondary based information obtained which was used to capture the company warehouse process and activities are as follows journals, articles and example of the company’s warehouses. According to the research based on company analysis of the warehouse much is needed to be done as per the findings report the training should be done to all the employees (Shiau, 2010).

Recommendation

You need to recommend solutions for every one of the problems you mentioned

According the company findings all the warehouse process should be made easier using the technology advancement. Also, the old stuff within the company should be trained of the other features required to be done in warehouse process. This results as per the finding the population which are trained with all techniques required for warehouse activities are the young generation. Technology also is an important aspect which is required to be integrated fully in the company to help facilitate other activities and make work easier. Some of the companies as per the study have expand more better than the others in terms of technological advancement.
