Scion Tech has seen a lot of growth in business of financial service applications in recent years, while the organization is focusing on providing the services that reach customer expectations it has become imperative that organization needs to keep up with integrating new technologies in to the working model in order to achieve efficiency and ease of operation. “Cloud computing increased its prominence from organizations because it offers a wide range of solutions and advantages to business such as increase flexibility, scalability, agility, reduces costs and higher efficiencies” (Xue & Xin, 2016). Going with the statement cloud computing with its versatility in services from PaaS to IaaS and different cloud models like public and hybrid has become an alternative that cannot be ignored. So, opting for cloud services and moving some of the workloads can be essential for business both in performance wise and financially.

High Capacity Workloads: These workloads can be defined as the ones that grow twice faster than the rest of the data in the organization. Data derivative applications databases back up modules, and the disaster recovery redundancy plans are some of the components that fall under this. These workloads while stored on the organization platform reduces the speed, causes improper load balance, increases cost of maintenance and operation compared to when it moves to cloud which offers pay per use basis.

High Intensive Applications: These are typically development and testing tools that are used by the organization to build the services, these applications basically need to work on cross platforms and should be supported by different operating system with variable hardware. These makes them expose to large amount of service requests and running them locally causes an interference with the applications that serve directly to the customer, moving them to cloud lessens the load on computing resources.

Guest Desktops and virtualization: These are the components that are used by the organization to interact with the third-party vendors and contract experts to do perform unique and expertise work. By moving these to cloud in form of SaaS it would protect organization proprietary information and enhances security.

Along with these other workloads like load balancing, security framework , integrated services can be considered for moving to cloud as organization grows and with accordance of need.
