Course Reflection

The goal of this week's single discussion is threefold.

· First, to identify what was your understanding of media literacy prior to beginning the class.

· Second, to share a few important things you learned during the course.

· Third, (paying attention to Chapter 15) in this week's reading assignment document how this class will change how you look at media in the future.

· Fourth, choose one of the textbook chapters you read for a quiz that we did not cover in the analysis / discussions so far. These include 1, 3, 4, 7, 8, 10, 12, and Issues 2 and 6. Please ignore the topics that we have discussed in the discussions and describe the most important or significant insight you gained about the media or media literacy from that chapter. Please do not choose a chapter we have covered in the previous discussions such as children, news or advertising.
