Since we are not meeting next week in class, this week's discussion topic is taken from topics found in Chapter 7. Before answering, review pages 199-207 and read the following article (taken from our reading list):

The article describes several issues with facial recognition technology. Assume that this technology is profitable both for the developer and any licensee. Classify each's usage of this technology as moral, immoral, or amoral. Describe why you reached this conclusion. What are the risks involved for a licensee?

Several other companies (Apple, Google, Facebook) have something similar, likely with the same ethical issues. How should society treat this innovation?
