After explaining the current situation, take the current learning from the course and:

1. We know that several industries have already adopted robots and robotic machines such as the automobile industry. Identify an industry that is contemplating adopting robotics. What will the robotics be used for? What are the issues with adopting the technology? What will the benefits be?

2. Have you worked on teams? Identify some limitations that you experience when working on teams. Have you used groupware to facilitate your work or would it support your work if you worked in teams? 

3. Explain how group support systems previously known as group decision support systems. Can these systems help teams collaborate and decision-making in groups and eliminate or reduce some losses.

Question 3

For this project, select an organization that has leveraged Cloud Computing technologies in an attempt to improve profitability or to give them a competitive advantage.  Research the organization to understand the challenges that they faced and how they intended to use Cloud Computing to overcome their challenges.  The paper should include the following sections each called out with a header.

• Company Overview:  The section should include the company name, the industry they are in and a general overview of the organization. • Challenges: Discuss the challenges the organization had that limited their profitability and/or competitiveness and how they planned to leverage Cloud Computing to overcome their challenges. • Solution:  Describe the organization’s Cloud Computing implementation and the benefits they realized from the implementation.  What was the result of implementing Cloud Computing?  Did they meet their objectives for fall short? • Conclusion:  Summarize the most important ideas from the paper and also make recommendations or how they might have achieved even greater success.

This paper should not be a cursory overview. This is a technical class and should be a review of the technical solution. It should detail what was moved to the cloud, what cloud services were and are being consumed, and what the results were. It is not a persuasive paper trying to convince someone to move to the cloud, but an analysis of an organization that has already done so.

Important - This is a research paper about organizations that consume cloud services. You should not write about Amazon, Azure, Google, Apple, IBM, or other cloud providers. You may not use Netflix as a topic organization for this paper.
