Instruction:

After completing the assigned readings, go the Federal Bureau of Investigation Uniform Crime Report data tool: Follow these steps (Links to an external site.) :

· Go to the table building tool 

· Click on All states and U.S. Total 

· Click on State-by-State and national estimates 

· Select your home state, number of violent crimes, and then select from 2010 to the most recent year available, then click Get table 

· Click on Spreadsheet of this table 

· Calculate the mean, median, and mode for Violent Crime Total 

Write your findings and discuss how this information could be used by the various criminal justice agencies in your state.
